1. Background and Rationale
Tanzania is experiencing a growing gap between formal education outcomes and the practical skills required for employability, entrepreneurship, leadership, and digital readiness among Generation Z. Although many young people complete secondary and tertiary education, a significant number still struggle to secure meaningful employment, establish sustainable businesses, or effectively adapt to the demands of a rapidly evolving economy.
In response to this gap, the Kingdom Leadership Institute (KLI) has developed a practical and transformative Business and Entrepreneurship Development Program tailored for Form Four and Form Six graduates, university students, and recent graduates. The initiative seeks to develop ethical, innovative, and solution-oriented young leaders who are capable of creating sustainable opportunities for themselves while contributing meaningfully to their communities.
